Managing Multiple Amazon & Etsy Stealth Accounts Without Suspension

The Danger of Linked Accounts on Amazon and Etsy

For professional e-commerce sellers, diversification is survival. If you only have one store, a single competitor complaint or policy update can shut down your entire business overnight. To mitigate this, sellers create "stealth" accountsβ€”multiple independent storefronts operated under different business details.

However, platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay have built incredibly advanced systems to detect and link accounts. If one account gets suspended, every single linked storefront is closed down within minutes.

Amazon and Etsy do not just check your name and bank account. They look at your digital footprint, which includes:

  • IP Address History: If you log into two different seller accounts from the same IP address, they are linked instantly.
  • WebRTC Socket Leaks: WebRTC is a browser technology that allows real-time communication. Unfortunately, it bypasses software proxies to query your local network adapter, leaking your real IP address.
  • Device Fingerprints: Your browser sends details about your screen resolution, installed fonts, operating system, and MAC address. If these details match across two accounts, they are linked.

The Hardware Solution: Complete Network Isolation

To run stealth accounts successfully, you must isolate them completely at the network level. Using software VPNs is highly risky because they occasionally disconnect or leak DNS queries, exposing your real identity.

A hardware router solves this by creating a dedicated gateway for each account:

  • Always-On Proxy Connection: The router maintains a persistent connection to a clean residential proxy. If the proxy connection drops, the router blocks all traffic (kill-switch), preventing your real IP from leaking.
  • No Software Profile: Since the routing happens outside your computer, there is no software proxy profile for Etsy or Amazon's scripts to detect.
  • Dedicated Wi-Fi Signals: You can assign a specific Wi-Fi network on your router to each stealth account. One laptop connects to Wi-Fi-A for Store-A, and a second phone connects to Wi-Fi-B for Store-B. Their network paths never cross.

Best Practices for Stealth Management

To maintain 100% safety, always use a separate physical device (or a clean virtual machine with unique fingerprints) for each seller account. Connect each device to a dedicated Onyx Router channel or proxy. Never log into multiple accounts from the same browser session or connection, and ensure you use matching localized proxy locations for your registration address.
